Pink Gothica (Sold)

This is Pink Gothica!  She's a Windstone Editions PYO Unicorn painted in metallic & flat acrylics and Spaz Stix paint.  Her mane & tail is accented with several (~30+) fuschia hot pink swarovski crystals.  She's varnished with satin clear coat.  Her horn is unpainted, merely given a protective varnish.  Her eyes are the light yellow supplied by Windstone Editions.

This unicorn was inspired by a Windstone forum discussion of possible color schemes that would be good for a production piece unicorn line with silver horns.  The suggestion of pink/hot pink and black was made, but not feasibly economic time-wise (proper blending takes time and would make the pieces too expensive).  But the idea intrigued me enough to attempt it (and I am truly fortunate enough not to be limited in economic based time constraints in painting).  She was originally supposed to have bengal cat markings, but that idea evolved into the inspiration to mimic gothic style lace.  I have to say I really enjoyed creating the pattern on her back!
